The Emperor's Quest

The Emperor decides to find his successor by giving every child in the kingdom a seed to grow, instructing them to return in a year with their results. The story follows the trials and tribulations of three friends: green-fingered Ling, anxious Bobo, and clever Soo. As they work hard to grow their seeds, they face pressure from their families and schools. While everyone believes that the child who grows the most beautiful flower will become the next Emperor, none of the
seeds seem to grow, unraveling a mystery that tests their integrity and perseverance.

"The Emperor’s Quest" had its international premiere at C Venues during the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It received the prestigious Musical Theatre Matters Judges’ Discretionary Award for Work for Young Audiences, marking the first time a show had been honored with this discretionary award.
Additionally, it was included in The Guardian's Top 10 Kids Shows at the Fringe and was selected by The Scotsman as a ‘Hot Show,’ praised as "a captivating tale for all ages" with an audience of children "utterly transfixed from start to finish."
