Set in the late Joseon Dynasty in late 19th Century, the story follows a dancer who becomes a court slave due to her father’s false accusation of treason. She gets a permission to leave her country to follow the French ambassador, traveling through Japan and France, ultimately returning to Joseon. Through this journey, she embarks on a quest to find herself.
